Catrice Camouflage Cream Review.

Personally I never bothered concealers as well if I put anything on a spotvoila a million spots but I saw this in pennys/primark and thought i'd give it a;whirl; But me being silly I managed to pick up the darkest shade.(Why Rose? Why? ) Although picking up the darkest shade once blended it's the same as my foundation. I like to use it under my eyeshadow as a base or use it on my redness around my face.
This product comes in three shades - Ivory,Light Beige,Rosy Beige.
Basically I like it. It's an afforable cute pot of concealing magic :)  Maybe it's not magical but this stuff stays put. I think it was around 3 or 4 Euro can't go wrong can you? It's perfect for nights out when you want makeup that stays put. A little goes a long way with this product so I would recommended it too anyone who likes a high coverage concealer.

Hopes/Dreams :)

Today I'm up early making sure my C.V is all good to go so I can hopefully get some summer work :)

It got me thinking what are my hopes and dreams?
Well right now I’m not sure whether to follow into social care or beauty therapy. But what I am sure no matter what career path I end up in I will help people. I love the area of young people and their issues and Mental Health! I love helping people I think it's important to be there for people no matter what :)
I love cars, and I can’t wait to drive but I can’t afford it yet so I’ll have to wait. But I will one day and advise everyone in Ireland to get off the roads gotta’ stick to the typical female driver stereotype!  I may be mad but I love boy racer cars!
In the near future I want to learn more about makeup and improve my blog. Hopefully do a beauty course too :)

My main hope in life is to be happy at what I do, I know you can’t always be happy but the majority of the time I hope to be somewhat happy! I know it’s totally cheese but I am a big cheese puff after all :)

Although It may be hard never let anyone put your dream down not until you have tried to achieve it, although not every dream works out it doesn't hurt to try it :)
Thank you petals for reading. Hope you all have a good day :)

Rimmel Salon Pro Nail Colour with LYCRA® Review :)

So a few days ago my housemate broke his belt being poor students Penny's/Primark was hit. :) As I grew bored of the men's section I decided to have a look at the makeup section.

So I had seen advert about the new Rimmel Salon Pro Nail Colour with LYCRA® :) And well I wanted it? Good enough reason me thinks :) As soon as I got home I put the feet up and painted my nails. They also note that for a more intense manicure to apply two coats. Personally I applied two coats. I picked up the two colours 701 Jazz Funk and 500 Peppermint.

(Pretty bottles :) )

                                                               ( A little close up)

Rimmel says  "10 shades chosen by Kate Moss. All the benefits of a professional salon manicure. Strengthening base coat, top coat and gel shine all in one.
Ultra flexible Lycra formula; colour is shock proof, chip resistant and anti-fading. Long lasting for up to 10 days.
Up to 10 days chip resistant nail colour with gel shine finish
Includes our precision maxi brush for salon perfection!"

They are priced around 6.45 (euro). But in Pennys/Primark I picked them up for 4.95 each. :) My favourite out of the two is 500 Peppermint. I personally think it has a nicer finish.. I can't wait to purchase the rest of them roll on grant day. :) I found that peppermint was quite rich in colour and  gel like. It won't budget and I have had it on for the last 2-3 days whereas the Jazz Funk wasn't as gel like and may need three coats.

Exams? Sure Granny Will Light A Candle For You..

If you aren't from Ireland and you have just read my title of this post and think im mad.... Instead of a good luck card mammy's and granny's go to the church and light a candle in the hope you succeed  Mad huh? Well I think it's sweet :) (although not sure it will make you pass? )
So the leaving cert exams are approaching and I’m sure other people in different countries have to face exams pretty soon! I disliked the leaving cert, I've always been a free spirit and I went to a catholic school…
Now it’s not as bad as days gone by but it felt like a prison camp to me. The important thing is know that all the hard work you put in will pay off, talk among your peers to find out their study techniques many will tell you they aren't studying but they are. Do a little every day. EXAM PAPERS are an amazing resource do a question then go for a walk or listen to music.  Put little notes in your room of quotes; record yourself talking about something and listen when you’re on the way home or whenever you can!
Get enough sleep; sleep is essential to get through exams! Your food is too ,eating enough veg and all that haha. Will help big time! Time yourself when writing; I’m quite a slow writer so if you are too try to speed up over a period of time.
Try getting study groups or going to the library a few times a week if you can, it’s important that you get stuck into your work. It’ll be tough but it’ll pay off! Don’t tie yourself to a desk either but make a timetable a realistic one though. The condensed books you get are really helpful and there are a few websites that you can get material off, try sharing your material in return for more study notes.
I want to wish everyone who I studying exams the best of luck and hopefully you’ll get what you want. Make sure to have a back-up plan ready, PLCs can be a good way of finding out if the course your about to do is right for youJ Make sure to Smile it will work out through patience and work  out how it is best for you to study.

Don't ever give up fight for what you want, it'll never be easy. But you'll get through it. And if you don't get a million points there is other options other routes :) All the information is there just can be hard to find. And for those who's exams have finished I hope you have done your best and try not to let them worry you.

Good Luck

Brushes?

Brushes.
Never saw the need for them a foundation brush and a blush/powder brush from penneys/primark sorted?
Eco tools foundation brush was the essential brush to have.. until the new sensation of real techniques brushes came along.... The stippling brush was everywhere that was when my eyes were opened up to brushes... (decent ones anyways) Dramatic but unfortunately it's true. So for my birthday I went to Dublin and bought it the best 15 euro I have ever spent?
Then a little while after I was given a powder by clinque and the brush....
I thought I was the bees nees, turns out I wasn't.
So eventually I started to buy a few essence brushes.. they may be only 2/3 euro but there eye brushes are the bomb. There is three in particular you just need in your brush collection
Gel eyeliner brush which I use for my eyebrows :)
The smokey eye brush which is a blending brush.
And the eyeshadow brush it's lovely to use to apply your eyeshadow.

( I have taken this from the essence webpage(as well im too lazy to go find mine haha. Ignore the face brushes.)

Real Techniques are the business.
I would recommend buying the core collection
It contains a buffing brush ,small foundation brush a contouring or you could use it as a blush brush, and a lip brush which i prefer to use for concealer. Cost about 30 euro :)
I recently bought the blush brush too, personally I use it for powder but all the same it's a lovely soft brush..
Mine is a little dirty so here is real techniques lovely picture

(Lovely brush cost me around 13 euro :) )

No7 blending and contour brushes are essential. Why you ask? because for the price they are simply amazing. They are around 7 euro.
It does what it says it does, blends your eye shadow and can be used in contour when re creating your favourite eye look!

(Stolen of the boots page)

Lastly the last set of brushes I have a is Models Own 5 piece Brush Set. To be honest I wouldn't bother with the powder brush personally I find it hard to work with. But the other brushes I love, they are hand and easy to use.
(Set includes Powder Brush, Lip Liner Brush, Shading Brush, Angled Brush and Blending Brush)

So I don't have a lot of brushes, But here is what I do have and like to work with. :)  I can't wait to buy more brushes.:) I have a few brushes that sit in a mug waiting to be used and when I'm in a hurry sometimes they get a look in :)
Any brushes I should own?  I'd love to hear from you petals. Thanks for reading my ramble about brushes :)

Scandaleyes eyeshadow stick review :)

Rimmel seem to be producing better quality products by the day before I knew them for their concealer stick hide the blemish? And a face powder called clear complexion? Nowadays they are a great brand! My godmother always tells me that in her youth, it was a cheap brand! I was picking up another apocalips (a review coming very soon) in Superdrug yesterday and I was checking out what was new in the land of Rimmel cosmetics.
And I saw the Scandal eyes range now has an eye shadow stick. I was looking at the colour range and to be honest I always pick up the nude colours. I am experimenting with colours though!  So I picked OO2 Bulletproof Beige. This is a pretty beige/gold colour with a small little bit of shimmer in it. I tried it on alone, if you wanted decent colour payoff I would advise to use a primer or a concealer as a base! It is nice and doesn’t budge on the packaging to claims to be 24hr/waterproof. I don’t know if it would last 24 hours but it keeps pretty well.

So once I applied it to my eye I decided to get out my naked palette and do a simple smokey eye! You could use these ‘sticks’ as a base for your eye look!  They could do with a bigger colour range! But overall I really like the eyeshadow stick. I love the fact they are giving their products name now J
In this eye look I used
Urban decay’s smog, half baked and of course I used the Scandal eyeshadow stick in OO2 Bulletproof Beige.

Here's the full selection of the eyeshadow sticks :)

(this photo doesn't belong to me found it on beautezine.com )

Thanks for reading petals, hope you found it helpful I would deffo recommend these:)

It's all about the hair.

Can I first just say my poor hair! Its been through a lot. A lot of boxes of hair dye...
My favourite bleach has to be Smart Colour which is found in most chemists and superdrug stocks it too :)
