A little ramble about Fashion:)

Young people these days have so much to face mainly because of the media. The stress of exams, having a new fancy phone or the latest clothes just to name a few! It’s hard but just remember that happiness is the most important thing of all. There is a recession on at the minute so be grateful for everything you own. It’s lovely to be on trend but Macklemore has taught us something from his catchy song to ‘thrift’. Thrift is quite an American word, but it basically means pre-owned. Now I’m not saying everything is always good pre owned but in charity shops you can sometimes pick out really nice things! I love have a looking in the local Oxfam in Galway! Have a look and as well as gaining a bargain your supporting a charity. I really like old earrings the clip on ones they would nearly break your ear but some of they are just so beautiful. I worked in two charity shops and most clothes are steamed before they hit the shelves but just pop it in the wash when you do your next wash.
And if you’re a student buying clothes always ask for that student discount everywhere you go! Save a few cent or pennies! I love shopping and sometimes I have to avoid Pennys (Primark in England) in order to save money. I have a habit of buying stuff I’ll never wear. Always try on clothes it can be a pain but it’s worth it in the end trust me. If you want to look your ‘best’ look up fashion magazines, fashion bloggers or Images on Google find something you like and develop your own style.  And don’t worry, we all make mistakes (velour tracksuits aren’t for anyone!!)
Personally I think your hair is your best accessory. Don’t be afraid to play around with your hair although if your 90 and want a Mohawk think of your grandkids please haha! And make sure your parents don’t mind you experimenting with your hair.  I can’t wait for summer if I can call it that! Really want to Re-Ombre my hair and put a pastel colour in it! I love dying my hair; I think my parents don’t notice anymore the amount of times I have come out of the bathroom with different hair colours! Be careful though you can damage your hair! Also if you’re dying your hair think of the maintenance you will have!
I always wanted to design as a child or style people. Being a student I don’t have the funds for the latest trends so leggings and hoodies are normally my style haha!

Make Up Academy (MUA) professional PRO-BROW ultimate eyebrow kit review

Make Up Academy (MUA) professional PRO-BROW ultimate eyebrow kit
It claims on the packaging to be an All-in-one. Shape, shade & Highlight.
·         Shape brows using the handy mini tweezers to remove unwanted strays
·         Choose your shade and work colour through browns using the angled brush. Finish with a slick of gel for instant and precision
·         Highlight under brow-bone using the palest shade for instant lift.

That’s what it claims on the packaging, its £3.50 for 5.9g of product. I like this little palate its small, handy and the little tweezers are actually really nice to use. So it may not live up to all the claims. However the tweezers are handy to remove hairs and your given two shades to work with and luckily the lightest one works nicely on me and the gel is really nice to keep them in place!
However the highlight isn’t a highlight it’s quite dark for my skin! But for just over 3 quid which would be roughly 5/6 euro you’re not expecting perfection and I have plenty of eye shadows I can use as a highlight or even a light concealer. The mirror is handy too although don’t make a habit of dropping it as I learned the hard way and it broke in half </3

I think its great value, handy and definitely something people should try out if they can get their hands on it.
I love MUA it’s affordable and the quality is great! Hopefully I’ll pick up a few more bits and bobs to try out before the week is up! J
Give them a like on Facebook and tell them that us Irish need their products here! <3

Maxfactor Colour Elixir Giant Pen Stick Review :)

Maxfactor- Colour Elixir Giant pen stick.

Hey Lovelies,
When I went into Superdrug the other day I was looking out for this as I had seen it in a magazine( Which I have heard is max factor's dupe of the 'Clinique Chubby Sticks'.  So I wanted to see was it any good. When I was looking through the colours I saw the pink stick which is called Princess Rose. So clearly I had to have it!
It a pretty colour but I wouldn't wear it by itself. If you wanted a little pink sparkle on your lips then it’s defiantly for you. I found it to be very hydrating on my lips.  I would recommend it to others.
The packaging is nice too!  Although this colour doesn't suit my skin tone, I would recommend getting the other colours! I put it over Rimmel's apocalips in Nova (Which I will review soon) and it looked lovely :)

Hopefully I’ll get the others soon :D Next grant  day maybe ;) They are available in Boots and Superdrug and anywhere else that sells Max factor most pharmacy's do!
Here are all the colours( Princess Pink,Vibrant Pink,Suttle Coral,Passionate Red, Hot Chocolate, Designer Blossom)

Review – Topshop Cream Blusher in Neon Rose

I always seen these raved about online but could never get one. So I tried others such as the MUA or the Revlon one. The MUA one is pretty decent for the price! Unlike, the Revlon blusher which I didn’t like as I found it quite dry and hard to blend. But finally I found the Topshop in Dublin turns out I have been walking past it for years J

I tried out a few in the store and picked Neon Rose in the end because I thought it was the prettiest! Neon Rose is a coral/pink colour and looks very pretty on. I’ve received quite a few compliments on it! Staying power is brilliant once applied in the morning it won’t slip till at least 6/7, if not later.

I usually apply it with either a tapered blush brush or real techniques stippling brush. I bought mine for €8.80 (Waaaheeey for student discounts!) The packaging is uber  cute mine has been well abused as you can tell below!! I can’t wait to try out more products from the line!
I would give it a rating of 5 out of 5.
